Greetings! I head a project for searching and translation of AB’s works into Russian. It’s named CodeArtStudio (sorry for bad English). Some time ago I made full list of AB’s work with distinct classification based on type of work, year of publishing and other characteristics. Inside the list are artbooks, manga (included Tareme Paradise and other) and even illustration. All entries are supplied with images. All works (which I find) are available on FTP server. Also I decided to make English version of this section of my site.

For me in Russia it’s very difficult to search for the information on my own, because there is no merchandise distribution inside the country while most of oversea Internet shops don’t want to work with Russia. I’ll be very gratefull if somebody will help me with filling of this list. Any information is needed: date of publishing, annotation, reviews and scans of AB’s works. Any proposals are welcome.
For the time being this list is integrated into a Russian site but if it will interest someone outside Russia, I’ll make a separate page.
Also my project is translating AB’s works into Russian. The problem is to find the Japanese-to-Russian translator willing for work for noncommercial project without pay which is practically impossible. Since there are people with knowledge of Japanese at the forum I suggest uniting efforts. I can do some pretty good editing of scans. I have translations for 'White Rain' and 'Where the Rain Falls' done by the excellent neuroretardant; we've also got the first 'Pochiyama at the Pharmacy' short translated here, but it was a joint effort through waha's translation system (no real script - the system can be used to directly annotate spots on the pages).
@Wingless: Might have that in Japanese somewhere in the uber-collection; it was an outtake from the middle of one of the infamous Mutekei-Fire doujins.
Will try to post all of that stuff here in a bit.

It was ABe's debut ('Ame no furu basho'), I think (all the way back in 1992). neuroretardant did a script for it that I've had lying around for ages and ages.

I have three volumes of Robot (in english) in which published manga Wasteland. I think this most advanced and bloody Abe’s manga :). Drawing on artbook level. World in which take place action similar to white rain.

Is there a Lain character design sheet? ETc, shows her from front and behind and details? I'm looking for a good reference pic to make a cosplay outfit, and I want the one from the opening credits. It's hard to find screens of the whole outfit though. Any help?

Hey, just a small request...could anyone put up a rapidshare or something of that White Rain doujinshi? The current rapidshare is dead and the torrent lacks seeders. Thanks...I just started browsing /ABe/, I'm surprised how much content and good stuff is on here!

Nobody's got the second Pochiyama yet; we'd be working on it if we did, though. And we only have bits and pieces of the scenario collections (Novastar scanned most of number 1, I think) - aren't they're pretty much just the scripts from the TV show and random lineart/sketches?

Ok, i've went back and deleted a ton of threads. I've tried to keep threads with relevant news or info alive, or posts with substancial ABe artwork in them, and have tried to keep most of the recent posts alive.

What I have deleted are threads with outdated information or conversation, (such as editing discussions before final releases), outdated torrents, and threads with no responses or irrelevant postings. I've also deleted a ton of old fanart postings that were taking up room.

I apologize in advance if any posts someone wanted to keep up were deleted. If this is the case just post it again, I suppose.

Did this last april according to the date on the original post. Sorry if i deleted something you may have wanted back then though. Although from what i remember (it was a long long time ago) i only deleted non-abe artwork so all the good stuff should still be there.
At the time people were complaining about the 11+ pages that had built up making hard to locate relevant posts. I greatly apologize if i deleted something you wanted to keep.
Let me know if there's anything I can do to help rectify this. I greatly respect you and this board.

just got my copy of Uchuujin Desuga... in the mail today! I understood most of it (my NDS kanji dictionary is broken, so some of the large kanji clumps stumped me) but I liked what I could make out, and laughed out loud a couple times... hopefully it'll get digitized soon!
