Hey /hr/, one question.
I've heard that the Lain Texhnolyze and HR's BD's have already got licensed (by Funimation, I believe). If that's so, are there any release dates?
I've seen the quality of the BD's and they're bloody good. Hopefully, Funimation's release will come with all the nice goods the Japanese one had.

Pretty accurate. It's good... for an anime. It's not a masterpiece, even by anime standards, but it looks great and and it doesn't suffer from moéblobs or excess fanservice.

These pages appeared in Newtype USA Sep 2003. There are scans of these pages in the ABe mega-torrent and the ones from the torrent have been posted here before, but the resolution is really bad in those and the text could not be read. These are fresh scans where the text is readable.
Some of the drawings are pixelated. They appeared this way in the magazine.

i found something strange in "ab# rebuild an omnipresence in the wired".
there is a time line about abe's works in this artbook. one subitem got my attention:
1998
03 "lain" manga series begins in anime magazine ax (sony magazines).
this took place befor the anime was released.
it clearly says "series" so it cant be a reference to "nightmare of fabrication".
im realy confused about this cause im searching for anything about and with lain for more than 4 years and i never heared about a manga series.
so does anyone here knows more about it?
