I'm rewatching (again) Haibane Renmei and I realize I never came to terms with the meanings behind some elements of the story. Can anyone point out good resources for discussion or explanation of this series and its world?
There was an in-depth discussion on the Anime News Network forums a while ago (one of the few intelligent discussions I've seen there). I don't have a link for it off-hand, though.

No. 4 is right, that forum has a lot of good posts...but it also has a lot of pointless posts, especially within the past year. If you look, you might be able to find some pretty good discussion, though.

If anyone was around during Anime North 2009's discussion on Haibane Renmei, one of the panelists compared the series to Dante's Divine Comedy.Personally, I haven't read it so I can't say if there is merit behind it, but it might be worth investigating.

Does anyone have some high resolution scans of this?All I can find is the cover (found it on here) and 3 other scans, but they are very low res.With the cover page on here the poster said he would scan the rest but it seems he never did or the file he did post got deleted....So anyone know where I could find it or could someone reupload the scans if you do have them?
