Since someone actually responded to the first image, I thought I'd mention that there's writing right above Reki's head: しくしく (shiku shiku), which equates to "sob sob." I forget if this particular one would be 擬態語 or 擬音語...but the difference isn't such a big deal, I guess. The point is: I find it quite amusing.

I *think* that first image was done by the same guy, but I might be wrong. It was in the folder where I dump all the random artwork I find for all series. Which reminds me that I should really organize it better.

村雨 is japanese sword name "murasame".
飛鳥 is "asuka". it's name of age(bc6c~8c).
